Reiki
Reiki is an energy healing modality that originated in Japan and is used for stress reduction and relaxation and also promotes healing. Reiki works on multiple levels including the body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki helps to more fully connect with one’s authentic self. It helps release and heal what has been accumulated from one’s life, ancestral, or collective that blocks alignment. In this way, it nurtures wellbeing.
The type of Reiki I am trained in is called Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki and is the method taught by the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). Currently, I am a Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Master and Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master. I am also trained as an ICRT Animal Reiki Master. I attend ongoing classes including Reiki with a shamanic framework.
In addition to Reiki sessions, I also teach Reiki classes.
What to expect in our Reiki sessions?
During the first part of the session we allow space to connect with an intention. What would you like the session to help you with? We also allow time for any questions you might have about Reiki and orientation to the session.
After the intention for the session is set, you rest comfortably while you receive Reiki. Some people prefer to rest in silence, others prefer to listen to relaxing music. At times we are guided to start the session with a Reiki meditation. During the session, Reiki energy connects directly with your energy and can help release energetic blocks, bring balance to your system, help empower you towards your goals, and help you connect with your gifts and authentic self.
Towards the end of the session, we allow space to share about the experience, answer questions, and have support for the integration process. All my sessions are trauma-informed.
Sessions are done via Zoom. So you are receiving Reiki from the comfort of your home. Reiki sessions are done fully clothed.
I have experienced and witnessed transformative Reiki experiences. It would be an honor to be of support! You are welcome to contact me with any questions.
Please note that Reiki is not intended to substitute medical and/or psychological care. It is complementary to the care received by medical and/or mental health professionals.
