Shamanic Reiki Sessions

Greetings! Would be honored to be of support. I am taking part of a Shamanic Reiki apprenticeship and between the months of May to mid-November. I am looking for volunteers who would like to experience this work. I will be offering no-cost sessions during this period to people who are interested. (if you would like to contribute financially towards the sessions, you are welcome to, but it is not required).

Shamanic Reiki sessions help restore balance and wellbeing. Reiki is an energy healing modality originally from Japan. Shamanic practices are deeply respectful practices honoring the interconnection of all life including the Earth, elements, animals, plants, cosmos, and all beings - including you. Shamanic Reiki combine both. Some people translate Reiki as universal life force energy or spiritually guided life force energy.

For the apprenticeship we are asked to work with clients for 4 sessions each. That way you can have support towards your goals and time for process and integration.

During these sessions you are invited to bring a wish/intention. Something you would like to release and perhaps something you would like to bring in to your life. For example, you might desire a restorative session as the world and life is too much during these times. Or perhaps you would like support shifting some patterns and bringing new possibilities, support for grief, ancestral threads you might carry that would like to alchemize, or perhaps you feel stuck in some areas and would like to dream or empower a goal/wish. These are just some examples. The time is for you and what is meaningful for you. Would be honored to be of support.

Sessions are about 90 min. I am offering these at no-cost from mid-May to mid-November. After the session, there is a feedback/reflection form that is part of the apprenticeship program. (if you would like to contribute financially towards the sessions donation based, you are welcome to, but it is not required). For this offering, 4 sessions per person are suggested, giving space and time for your process and integration.

In addition to Shamanic Reiki we may combine somatic practices. I have training in Somatic Experiencing and interpersonally neurobiology/parts work and these can be combined with Shamanic Reiki when appropriate if you would like. Please note that these sessions are not psychotherapy nor medical care.

During the Reiki/energy healing part, session can include light touch or it can be offered with no touch at all. Works well both ways and it is totally your choice/preference. In-person sessions in the Austin area. Sessions are fully clothed. This is energy work not massage.
